Spring is here! I know, I know, it has been here for quite a while! It is so great when the cold bleak colorless feel of winter begins to shed its icy grip on the world around us as life breaks forth in the form of soft green leaves and blades of grass. Here in Southern California there isn't really a marked difference between winter and spring. But, it is here and it ought to be enjoyed!

Wikipedia says:

Spring is one of the four seasons of the temperate zones, the transition from winter into summer. Spring is counted as the whole months of March, April, and May in the Northern Hemisphere and September, October, and November in the Southern Hemisphere. Spring begins on the Vernal Equinox (March 20th or 21st in the Northern Hemisphere and September 22 or 23 in the Southern) and lasts until the Summer Solstice (June 21st or 22nd in the Northern Hemisphere and December 21st or December 22nd in the Southern). Oh yeah. Springtime baby.
